Terms & Conditions

1. Nature of the Service

Decision Audit Studio provides an independent decision-mapping and clarity service.

The service is designed to support clients in exploring their own decision-making processes through structured analysis, option-weighting, and alignment with client-defined priorities.

Decision Audit Studio does not provide advice, recommendations, or directives, and does not determine outcomes on behalf of the client.

2. Scope and Limitations

The service is limited to structured exploration of decision frameworks and does not constitute:

  • medical or clinical advice

  • mental health support or therapy

  • legal advice

  • financial or investment advice

While topics may be discussed at a high level, Decision Audit Studio does not provide positioning, endorsement, or direction in these areas.

3. Client Responsibility

All decisions remain the sole responsibility of the client.

The client acknowledges that:

  • any outputs provided are structured reflections of their own stated priorities and inputs

  • Decision Audit Studio does not influence or determine decision outcomes

  • any actions taken following the session are made independently and at the client’s discretion

The client agrees that they do not rely on Decision Audit Studio as a basis for making decisions.

4. Suitability of the Service

The service is intended for individuals who are able to engage in rational, reflective discussion.

It is not suitable for individuals experiencing:

  • acute psychological distress

  • impaired judgment

  • crisis situations

By booking a session, the client confirms they are in a state capable of participating in a structured and reasoned discussion.

Decision Audit Studio reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings where the subject matter or circumstances are deemed unsuitable.

5. Session Conduct and Termination

The auditor reserves the right to terminate a session at any time if:

  • the client presents in a state that impairs their ability to engage in a coherent and rational discussion

  • the client uses abusive language, makes threats, or behaves in a disruptive or non-constructive manner

  • the client persistently attempts to transfer decision responsibility to the auditor

Refunds in such cases:

  • If termination occurs within the first 45 minutes, a partial refund (up to 50%) may be issued

  • If termination occurs after 45 minutes, the session is considered substantially delivered and non-refundable

6. Emergency and Safeguarding Situations

Decision Audit Studio is not equipped to respond to emergency or safeguarding situations.

If a situation arises involving:

  • risk of harm to self or others

  • abuse or immediate danger

the session may be paused or terminated, and the client will be advised to seek appropriate professional or emergency support.

Decision Audit Studio does not assume responsibility for client safety or intervention.

Refusal of Booking

A booking may be declined where:

  • the subject matter falls outside the scope of the service (including, but not limited to, medical, legal, or financial decision-making)

  • the request indicates that the client is seeking direct advice, recommendations, or outcome determination

  • the auditor reasonably believes the process would not provide meaningful value to the client

Cancellation by the Auditor

A session may be cancelled due to unforeseen or extenuating circumstances affecting the auditor.

In such cases, the client will be offered:

  • a full refund, or

  • the option to reschedule

Termination of Session

A session may be ended early where:

  • the client is unable to engage in a structured and coherent discussion due to distress or impaired state

  • the client does not engage constructively with the process

  • the continuation of the session would not be productive or appropriate within the scope of the service

Refunds in such cases are handled in accordance with Section 8.
